A file transfer system based on torrents and inspired by the popular Azureus.

Artemis is a P2P file transfer application for all types of material: music, video, file, document, game, software, etc. Artemis P2P works on the BitTorrent network, that is completely decentralized, with all the advantages that brings. Share, search and download any file without waiting, and with a more than acceptable speed.

To share a file or collection of them, the client create a "torrent" file. This is a small file containing metadata about the material to be shared and about the tracker. Clients who want to download a file must first obtain a torrent for it, and later connect to the specific track.

The Artemis P2P user interface is quite intuitive, and is similar to many others so is easy to get used to. It offers options and qualities like restarting interrupted transfers, disc cache, low resource consumption, speed limits, chat and communication with other users, automatic port mapping, file previews while they download and much more.
